The Facilities organization is responsible for the Planning, Design & Construction, Operation, and Maintenance of all Education and General funded space on campus. In addition, Facilities supports auxiliary and research organizations as requested if resources are available. Facilities consists of nearly 300 personnel including seasonal help who operate and maintain approximately 500 acres and over one hundred major buildings. The annual operating budget exceeds $15 million and there are approximately $200 million in capital projects under contract at any given time. Facilities also has a Business Service function that provides campus services for waste management & recycling, motor pool, and surplus sales for the entire campus and business functions for Facilities. Facilities is a service organization dedicated outstanding customer service and continuous improvement.
