Resource Recovery

USU Resource Recovery functions under the direction of the Facilities Business Services Department and is responsible for several important campus services, among them Recycling and Surplus Sales. Recycling Services is committed to removing as much of USU's waste stream as possible and reducing the environmental impact caused by our institution. Surplus Sales holds sales for various items no longer needed by campus departments. The home pages for both of these services can be accessed from the links on the right-hand side of the page.

The Resource Recovery department also sells lab gas. Any campus department needing gas may rent cylinders by calling Julie Stockdale at 797-2011. All orders must be charged through a Banner Index Number. Regular gas orders and called in pick-ups that are received by 1:00 p.m. on a working day will be delivered that afternoon. Specialty gases may take longer, depending on the type of gas.
