USU Facilities Departments
The USU Facilities organization is divided into five major departments, each with its own director. These major departments are divided into any number of subdepartments, all of which are supervised by one or more managers or supervisors. The responsibilities of employees across different departments vary enormously -- for example, a worker in the Facilities Maintenance Department may specialize in cleaning hardwood floors or planting trees, while one employed in the Business Office may have accounting duties. Nevertheless, all Facilities employees share a common mission -- providing a safe and pleasant learning atmosphere for the staff and students of Utah State University.
The five major departments and their numerous subdepartments are listed below, with brief summaries of their duties. Click on the name of a department or subdepartment to jump to a page particular to that department.
